Was a little disappointed with this book. Had just finished reading The Undercover Bridesmaid, and it was great, so was a little let down. I guess by the title I expected more to do with the Mafia. There was some good adventure at the end. It is a clean romance. Would have probably given it a 4, but there were quite a few editing mistakes at the end
This story has a lot of twist and turns, but was really great. Anna has come home to earn the money she needs for her PhD in Marine Biology. Her best friend Anna has been telling her about her boyfriend Denny and now they both are coming there. But while this is going she finds out her dad has cancer. And her best friend Chad has turned into a very handsome man.
Actually this was a cute storyline, but there were so many screwups!! Decide if its Heartland Cove,then it's Hartland Cove......this book definitely needed a proofreader!!

Just could not get into the storeline... It was too slow and had to keep reading it... Not sure what else to say...
Great, mysterious and romantic story. Enjoyed all of the characters in the story. You could imagine yourself on the water, crossing the Kissing Bridge with your special someone. Writer gave a great feel of growing up in a small town that caters to tourist.
The intertwining romances of Anna and her best friend Elise, the boy next door who turned into a hunk and the Mafia fiancé running from his murderous family create an action packed romance adventure.
Fun book that makes you giggle and then cry with sad medical news. Mark it as a great Read. Diane Lloyd
