At first, I thought I will just read a page to see what it's like or if I will be interested. Well I read the first couple of pages and the next and the next. Now I'm in the middle of reading another book, mind you. Just going to briefly check out ANGEL ON BOARD, Book 1, and I will return to reading my other novel. Wait a minute! Is this real? Are there really angels out there because I have had a few weird things happen similar to EJ's story. I will look again. Fiction or non fiction. I will keep reading to try and figure the dreams out. Right. Wouldn't you know it? I had to "check this novel out" until I had read every single page. The only reason I stopped is due to no more words.......Huh, guess I will have to quickly download EJ's next novel "ANGEL ON BOARD, BOOK 2. It's late but I will only read a few pages to see if I will be interested.........
This is a good FICTION book. It is meant to entertain, and it did. It would be nice to think that we do have guardian angels looking over us. That would explain a lot. The book did explain some about alcohol detox. I found that part interesting. This book is a quick, fun read. The thing that bothered me the most was the lack of editing in the last half. I am referring to the Kindle version here. The bad thing about "cut and paste" in word processing is that many times the words aren't deleted that need to be. Usually I can skim over subtle mistakes, but there were way too many to ignore. It definately interupted the flow of the story. The story line and character development would get 5 stars. The editor would get 1 star.
Angel on Board-Guardian Angel 101 may or may not be backed by Scripture completely, but it is a delightful imagining of the interaction between deceased believers and those who are alive on earth. It is an easy read and leaves the reader with much to think about if applied to the reader's own life. Had I realized that the basics of the book are based on true events, I might have paid closer attention to the time lines . However, this is a good book to get away from the day for a little while, for a car/airplane ride, or a rainy day with with a cup of tea/coffee.
Got this book cause it had Angel in the title and thought it might be an interesting read - I was not prepared for the trip this book took me on.As I read it I felt it could be my story - through my mom's passing 2 years ago, and how often she is with me. I love to think of where/how she is doing through how the author put this book together.It reminded me to pray too, and the power of prayer.I can't wait to share it with my sisters. If you have lost anyone close to you, or know someone who has, this might be just the read you need to pick you up and put things in a different perspective.Enjoy and Share!
When I first downloaded this book, I realized it was fiction but when I started getting into it, I couldn't believe how some things paralleled in my life. Whether you believe in angels or not, this book was spiritually uplifting. The character development was excellent (although I had trouble keeping track of all the angels) and the story itself was one I could relate to through many of the characters. Are things really just coincidence or does God have his hand in our guidance in life through angels. You have to read this book to see how you feel. I couldn't put it down. Kudos to the author and I'm looking forward to more.
If you don't want to be spooked, then don't read this book. I have always been a believer in the presence of angels. The content makes one believe that the writer has stepped into the heavenly realm and revealed the workings of our friends through the gift of automatic writing. Reading this book, with an open heart and mind, raises the human antenna. It gives one a sense that your divine friends are in the midst to help, encourage, and always at work for God. Get ready for a divine blessing and be grateful!
