This is a bodywork book and little more. I was expecting a detailed guide to full restoration, but this book barely touches on the mechanical aspects, and is vague at best in that respect. It does cover the bodywork very well so I'll keep it for that.
This book is exactly what it states. It walks you through the entire restoration process of the author's 1968 (California Special) Mustang. It tells how to do everything from all the way from disassembly to paint & wiring. It's a well thought out and informative book. My only constructive criticism is that sometimes the pictures are small, and their subject is of such a small area that it's hard to tell where exactly you are looking on the car. However, the tips and tricks that you can learn from this book are both innumerable and invaluable. It's a great reference book for a project.

This is a "must-have" guidebook for a Mustang restoration. The author not only provides excellent step-by-step instructions but he tells you why it's important to do things in a certain sequence. He also includes many terrific photos depicting each significant step and, often, includes helpful arrows within the photos so you can quickly see what he's talking about.This is a great resource!

There are some tips in this book, but when there are sentences like the following: "Next to be installed is the oil pump, the front timing cover, and the oil pan." with no further information, I have to admit there seem to be steps missing. What about the gaskets that go with the oil pan? Do we just skip that step? I would return if I didn't get it for 7 bucks and did find a few hints I'll use.
